Messinia Yachts (PNOE) 3D Virtual Tour
Overview
Developed an immersive virtual tour using Matterport for a number of various speed and catamaran boats owned by Messinia Yachts, a charter company out of Kalamata, Greece.
Project Goal
Messinia Yachts aimed to improve their digital media quality by providing prospective customers with in-depth tours that allow for guided documentation while retaining user agency in how they interact with and orient themselves within the space.
Creation
Starting in early 2025, PNOE, displayed above, was the first boat scanned in partnership with Daniel Trego and Messinia Yachts. Since then, a number of similar tours have been created for Messinia’s fleet, as well as more traditional content creation including photography and videography for the company’s social media. The scanning process was dictated by highlighting important hospitality features of the boats, as well as the recreational opportunities that come with renting the charters.
Impact
The projects are currently featured on Messinia Yacht’s website, as well as additional media creation frequently featured on their social media platforms, providing clients with the best possible digitial access to understanding and experiencing the boats.
